Checkmate

He took all this night pills, and went to bed. Samuel finally felt the weight of the 82 years he carried with him. He layed on his side and turned off the night lamp. Little by little, he began sleeping, he heard his slow, almost musical breath as he fell into a deep dream.
He didn't remember the last time he had dreamt, colors swifted trough his veins as he flew around a world he hadn't seen before. Then, suddenly he opened his eyes again and felt heavy, and slow... very slow... then slowly everything disapeared, every object, every sensation, one by one until nothing else was left.
Samuel had taken the wrong pills for the first time in his everyday pill-routine, and now, he wouldn't have the time to fix that mistake.
