I bet Baron Carl Auer von Welsbach never knew one of his discoveries would ever be that meaningful outside of the world of chemistry, or any other world, nor did he knew that it would be so important in Malaysia, not that half of the people would ever knew that guy, but the meaning of his achievement.

Maybe some guy named Carl Jacobs is sitting around waiting for his dark elf to reach this achievement, letting lots and lots of groups of 60minutes to pass, probably waiting to remember the name of the guys around Solomon for everyone of those minutes.

Agnes was probably waiting actual diamonds for this anniversary, little did she knew that Frank was actually calculating a equilateral triangle with more than 180° in a four dimensional plane, and he had forgot all about the day they got married in 1960, and he didn't even know today was 2020.

And it is funny how his people all wait for something, all know something, but we know something they don't, we know that there is far more about neodymium than just its molar mass of 144, we all know there is something beyond achieving max level in the most popular MMORPG, we know also that celebrating being together for more than half a century is not that big, but big is in the number, all of this things aren't what they are for what they symbolize, despite of what semiotics may tell you.

This events are important because of a huge and tiny number, the number of seconds there are in a minute, a number who is called Harshad by some, but by us, the ones we know how important it is, we just friendly call it SIXTY.
