The dusk

“What was all that about Kaylin?” asked George

“About what? The owl, well we’ve been through this many times, but it was just an old owl carrying a ferret” answered the sleepy girl

“I mean with the weirdo that now knows where we live” said George

“Well, you seemed a little more graceful when he showed us the way when it started raining” said Kaylin

“We could have found our ways anyway, I mean, we have been though this roads many times before haven’t we? Plus, you didn't need to be extra friendly with that guy out there” said George

“I was just being nice, he came to see what was wrong, it was the right thing to do” said the girl

“Since when do you do the right thing to do?! And you are not nice to anyone!” said the boy

“I am a very nice person excuse me, the fact that you annoy me so much is a very different thing, how long could a real “nice” person stand your stupid ring tricks anyway?” said Kaylin, not being nice.

“Well… thanks” said the hurt boy as he came out of the room in a rush, slamming the door

“Hey! Don’t slam doors!” was heard by a low voice in the next room

Then George went to his room, angry about how stupid his cousin was and angry at their entire trust to some weird guy who appeared in the woods, when he could have easily been some burglar or something. But all and all, he was more pissed about the house thing, that despite all of their efforts nothing had happened, and that apparently the only interesting thing of all summer had been just a complete loose of time.

Kaylin in the other hand was rather happy, happy at the fact that his little cousin would no longer insist on going to that creepy house any longer, even if herself regretted a little that the whole thing was just in vain, but she was also happy because she still had left 3 more weeks in France for herself, probably she would be able to go to Paris, being so near. Or maybe she was hoping to get lost in the woods so she could see that black vested guy again, but it was all blurry when she went to sleep, as well as the rest of the Fourniers.

Julliet 9

Today was fantastique! I went with my cousins older, and it was très très joyful. We went to le forest, and there weren’t any fées and no magical birds to be found. It was rather boring at that point, but then j’ai trouvé a very strange house in the middle of le forest. It was très big et mysterious, then Georgie got me to read some bizarre words in an old paper, it was fun when we all started singing them, but then the vent came, and it was uncomfortable, and then some old chouette scared me for real! It was carrying a poor little furet, j’espere que the little furet escaped.

But then like a hero, some bizarre garçon appeared out of nowhere and came to my rescue, of course it was très tard because the chouette was already gone, but he still came, he was really bizarre, but handsome, he was wearing amusing cloths and spoke in a foreign accent, both English and français. He then offered to guide us through le forest, because obviously Georgi and Kays had no idea of where they were going, in the way there we made so much detours, I started believing we would get lost. Well, then this guy named Aishe, who is also Stephen, but that sound just very English, lead us to the corner of le forest. In the way he asked us about where were we, he evidently noticed that I’m 100% française, he then made a bunch of questions to my cousins, I think out of true politeness, which Kaylin eagerly answered, Georgie was a little distracted I believe, the point is that then we got close to home, and the guy just went away très vit, saying at last something about seeing us later perhaps, he spoke really odd, but he was en effet, très charmant.

Sincèrement Victorie
